The iNSiGHT Program
Establishing an iNSiGHT Culture: Integrating Research and Evaluation on Any Budget and with Any Project
In the corporate and nonprofit world, research is paramount to gauge marketing campaigns and outreach efforts. In reality though, it’s usually one of the first things to get cut when budgets become tight or timelines become hurried. This presentation discusses techniques to gathering data that can fit into any budget, timeline or program.
Participants learn how to use various research methodologies to better understand their audiences and their issues. Topics like survey research, focus groups, question development, market segmentation and participant observation will be discussed in a way that makes sense to your group.
This session will help participants:
- Fully analyze their target audiences – What do they value?
- Understand the behaviors of the target audience.
- Use data to develop messages that resonate with the people who matter.
- Define simple data collection methods for all aspects of your campaign.
In addition, participants are encouraged to share their current research methods and work with Tait to improve their instruments and evaluation approaches. Attendees will leave with a basic research and evaluation plan that can be tweaked to fit into a variety of projects.
